The Hidden Heir

Separated siblings begin the journey that will eventually lead them to the throne, but they don’t know it yet

Rollo chuckled, shifting his weight as he moved to angle his head towards her face again.
It was just the shift that Keira had been waiting for. As he moved, his grip loosened on her left arm. She brought her knee up between his legs, causing him to gasp and step back just a hair. She used the opening to whip her head towards him, the dull thud in her own skull much more satisfying since it was matched by a bloody nose for him.
He brought his hand up to his nose, one still on his crotch. She grabbed his shoulders and switched places with him, pressing him against the wooden beam now, and in half a breath, her dagger was planted firmly between the legs of his pants.
“You know I’m not that type of girl,” she said.
